Our 2 x 2 record storage cabinet is a taller option and perfect for those with a growing record collection, with a smaller footprint. The top of the cabinet has ample space to fit your turntable and amplifier, at a counter-top height.

Materials

Our cabinets are hand built in our wood shop located in Chicago, IL with as many U.S.A. sourced materials as possible. Cabinets with drawers feature dovetailed solid hard maple boxes with a solid walnut face. Our cabinets are a mix of solid hardwood and real wood veneers. The cabinet cases are made from Grade A cabinet ply with real wood veneer.

Cabinets are backed with 1/4" ply matching finish on the interior. The interior underside, back and bottom of our cabinets are unfinished.

Top corners are mitered and re-enforced from underneath, bottom corners are glued and screwed with pocket hole joints which are strong and secure.

All finishing products are environmentally friendly low VOC water-based polys, stains, and paints. Our finishes are applied with a spray gun to achieve a super smooth and durable finish.

Wood is a natural product. The wood grain will be different for each piece and may not match the credenza shown in picture, but will be very similar.

Shipping

Please see our shop banner for our lead time. Once construction is complete shipping will be scheduled. This cabinet ships via blanket wrap service and can take up to an additional 1-6 weeks for delivery. PNW and other remote locations may take additional time.

*Please note that this does not include stairs; if your delivery has stairs, additional fees may apply. Custom cabinets and more remote locations may have an additional shipping fee.

All in the Details

Our cabinets are made with a mix of solid hardwood and real walnut veneer. The cabinet cases are made using the highest quality FSC certified 15 ply baltic birch core with a thick A-1 grade real wood veneer. This allows us to offer a very stable, high quality cabinet at an affordable price.

This cabinet lived up to all of my expectations. Simple, solid construction and just gorgeous to look at. I’ll be back when I outgrow the 1x3 and need more storage.

Two Perfect Custom Cabinets

I ordered two custom cabinets and had a great experience. Communication was great from start to finish.

One of my cabinets was especially unique - 1x2 with ebonized walnut finish, pull-out drawer on one side, adjustable shelf on the other side, and sliding cabinet doors. It is PERFECT!

The other was a 2x3 with adjustable shelves and a plinth base. The plinth base is a great touch. Again, it was PERFECT!

Fantastic experience from start to finish - will definitely be looking for an excuse to get more cabinets in the future. :)
